Peggy’s work was not born from theory alone. It emerged through her return to the body following a traumatic brain injury.
She remains deeply grateful for the healers across many traditions who have met her along the way. Her work continues to be shaped through relationship with the herd, the desert land, and those who gather within the sanctuary.
Roxy
CO-FOUNDER / LEAD MARE
Roxy has been on her own journey from protection toward regulation.
Today, Roxy lives fully into her role as lead mare. She is clear, discerning, and deeply attuned, with strong boundaries and a natural authority that keeps the herd in relationship and order. Her medicine is powerful, yet beneath her strength is a compassionate and gentle soul.
Her presence carries the wisdom of a being who no longer has to organize only around protection and can live from her true nature.

The desert is not simply where this work happens. It is part of the work itself — a steady, ancient presence moving through silence, rhythm, and relationship.
Humans, horses, land, the wild, body, sky, moon, and stars are not separate. We are one living system, shaped by the same rhythms and intelligence that move through all of life.
In the presence of this desert land, there is less to become and more to remember.
WOVEN TOGETHER
The steward, the herd, the land, and the wild are woven together as the living system of Tridentata. In relationship, they create the conditions to remember, to receive, and to return to trust in the innate wisdom of the body and of life itself.
The women who gather here are not separate from this living fabric. Their presence, care, and authenticity become part of what Tridentata holds — quietly shaping what is carried forward for those who come after.
