TRIDENTATA
A private sanctuary for women
in the Sonoran Desert.
Tridentata
Tridentata is a private sanctuary in the Sonoran Desert for women hearing the call for something older, quieter, and more true.
A call beneath the noise of achievement and the inherited patterns of pleasing, proving, managing, and holding it all together.
For generations, many of us have learned to leave ourselves in order to remain connected—to override the body, soften our knowing, silence our needs, and look outside ourselves for permission to trust what we already sense.
Tridentata is a place to return to the remembering of who we are—as women, as holders of creation—belonging fully to ourselves and inseparable from the web of life.

The Call to Return
Larrea tridentata
rooted in the ancient
Tridentata is named for Larrea tridentata, the ancient desert shrub commonly known as creosote bush—and more meaningfully, as gobernadora, the governess. She endures heat, drought, wind, and time with a quiet intelligence that shapes the ecosystem around her.
At Tridentata, we take our cues from this great elder—moving within this ecosystem with reverence, humility, and a sense of deep belonging.
Ways We Gather
Whether you join us in community or on your own, each experience is guided by the same intention: remember, receive and trust.
Curated Private Stays
Whether arriving alone or with a small group, each private stay is thoughtfully shaped in response to what is calling you.
Together, we listen and co-create an experience that supports your intention. Time with the herd, quiet on the land, restorative practices, body-based support, and trusted local practitioners may be woven into your stay — creating space for rest, clarity, and a deeper connection with your own inner knowing.
Small Group Retreats
Our retreats are are shaped in relationship with the land, the herd, and the season.
Through time with the herd, somatic practice, women’s circle, rest, and quiet on the land, we create conditions for restoration, integration, and return. Each gathering unfolds in its own way, responsive to what is present and what is ready to emerge.
CasitaTridentata
Quiet is a vibration.
The casita offers a place to stay within the slower rhythm of Tridentata retreats and private stays.
With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, organic linens, limestone finishes, peaceful living spaces, and views into the desert sanctuary, each detail has been chosen to soften the senses and support rest, regulation, and connection.
Your stay is not separate from the experience. It is part of the field — a place to sleep deeply, integrate slowly, and return to yourself in the quiet between gatherings.
UPCOMING RETREATEcology of Belonging

The Wisdom of Lived Experience
Tridentata was not created by one story alone.
It has emerged through the lives of the horses, the intelligence of the land, and Peggy’s decade-long return to the body following a life-altering injury. Each has revealed something about protection and trust, resilience and relationship, and the slow remembering of belonging at the pace the living system can hold.
Over time, these stories have come together in a place quietly held and continually tended — where lived experience is honored and women are invited to remember the wisdom that has always lived within them.
The Threshold
If something in you has begun to stir — an old knowing, a longing for a quieter rhythm, a sense that another way of being is possible — we invite you to reach out.
